Policy and procedures

 

The following are the policies and procedures with Tessa Scissorhands LLC.

BOOKING

All bookings will be made online via tessascissorhands.glossgenius.com. A credit/debit card and a deposit will be required to secure your appointment.

My booking system is comprehensive and will send you multiple emails and text messages to confirm your appointment details. You will receive an email and text when you request an appointment, once the appointment is approved, and 72 hours prior to your appointment time.

CANCELLATIONS

I enforce a 72-hour cancellation and reschedule policy. If your appointment is at 10am on Wednesday, you will receive a confirmation text/email around 10am on Sunday. Please confirm at that time. If you need to cancel, inform me ASAP. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 72 hours to 24 hours of your appointment time will incur up to a 75% fee of the potential service total. Understand that it is challenging to rebook a client in your spot with such short notice.

Same-day cancellations and no-shows will result in a charge of 100% of your service total. No-shows will be banned from re-booking. Cancellations will vary. If your card declines, you will receive an invoice made payable. Please pay ASAP. If left unpaid after 90 days, the balance will be escalated accordingly.

LATE FEES

Your appointment is scheduled for just the right amount of time. The clock starts at your appointment time whether you are in my chair or not. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled, charged accordingly, and I will work with you to get you rescheduled.

DISPUTES

If you dispute a charge on your credit card, all text history, photos/videos of your hair, copies of my policies that you agreed to by booking an appointment and signing my consultation form in your appointment confirmation email, as well as text/email history from GlossGenius will be forwarded to your financial institution as evidence against the dispute.

GUEST POLICY

The salon space is an intimate location. Guests are only allowed for pick-up or drop-off; they may not stay in the salon during your service. Exceptions to this are if you are under 18 years of age. The appointment time is for you, not for you plus one other person.

CLEANLINESS & HYGIENE

In the interest of everyone's health and safety, we maintain a high standard of cleanliness. Clients are expected to arrive clean and ready for their service. Please inform us if you have any allergies or sensitivities to any products.

RESPECTFUL CONDUCT

Please respect the peace and privacy of other clients by keeping noise to a minimum. Disrespectful or abusive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in the termination of services and banning from future appointments.
